peppermint tea

Just a short note:

First of all I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!! Mine was most enjoyable and Jason and I spent the entire week in Turlock! I cannot believe it but I love it there. For Christmas Eve it is a family tradition to eat beef stew. Its my grammies recipe but now that Jason and I are vegetarian I had to come up with something else for us to eat. So I made a vegetarian stew and I had never made it before so I pretty much just made it up. It turned out soooo yummy! I will post my recipe later!

However, now I am back in Modesto and Jason and I are housesitting and while I was looking through a cupboard for hot sauce (which I never found) I came upon all the tea they have! I got very excited...and I found a peppermint tea. I had never tried it before so I decided to. It was so good and refreshing. For tea drinkers it is a must have in your tea collection!

Yay ME! I have figured out how to change the color and font for my blog...it was easy and I was suprised how easy it really was! This is so fun!

Anywho this morning has been a wonderful morning. I got up at 8am actually excited and wanting to go to the gym. Unbelivable haha! Then the hubby and I went to church. Redeemer is so refreshing. I truely love it there and feel at home. I am so happy He has called Jason and I to that church! I signed up to volunteer once a month to work in the child care. I can't wait to meet the little ones!

Jason and I are having a open-house party for family and friends next weekend! So excited because not all of are friends and family have been over to see are new apartment yet or seen the new changes we have done to it. It has come a long way. Our apartment is small but so cozy. So anyways my mother in law bought us a house warming gift already just a couple days ago and it's a bench to sit outside on! I have been searching for one for at least the last month and she found one! I love it and it truely completes the outside of our apartment :) I sat outside for an hour just reading and enjoying the weather. I also have a plant stand that we got when we just moved in with some pink flowers. But the weather has not been kind to the flowers so its looking ill. Hopefully with this weeks sunshine it will feel better.I think it's so importaint to not only have the inside of your home cozy and comfortable but the outside as well. It needs to look inviting. Ok well off to clean the house, it's a little out of control and I want to hit the gym one more time today before Uncle Davids B day party so I better start cleaning. I'm giving this another try...

For some reason I just thought I might give this another try at blogging. And I think I may have gotten the hang of it but I want to learn all the cool things about blogging. Lindsey Pruitt a friend from highschool has inspired me! Her blogs are awesome and unique. Good job Lindsey :) Anywho I thought I would write something short and let people know that Im a beginner of blogging and excited about it! Anything I need to know about blogging or have any ideas you would like to share, I would love to hear them! Thanks...now off to the gym my 2nd home these days! Love it. xoxo
